Privacy
Your privacy on this website.
This notice covers asknani.in, the website you’re reading. The Ask Nani app has its own privacy policy, which we’ll publish when the app launches.
Last updated 15 October 2026
- No accounts, forms or sign-ups on this website.
- We never ask for your name, phone number or email here.
- We count visits anonymously to learn what helps families.
- We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
What we collect
Nothing you type on this website is sent to us. There are no accounts, forms or sign-ups, and the demos (the chat, the trackers, the week explorer) run in your browser only.
To understand how the website is used, we use PostHog, an analytics service. When you visit, it records:
- which pages you open, how long you stay and how far you scroll;
- how you arrived: the website or link that brought you here, such as a search engine or a link shared on WhatsApp;
- what you click, such as buttons and links;
- your type of device and browser, and screen size;
- your approximate location (city and country), worked out from your internet (IP) address.
We may also look at recordings of how pages are used: how the page moves as you scroll and click, so we can see what’s confusing. Anything typed into a box is hidden in these recordings.
This is about the website, not about you. We don’t try to find out who you are, and we don’t combine this with information from anywhere else.
Cookies
PostHog keeps a random ID in a cookie and in your browser’s storage, so a returning visitor is counted once rather than as someone new. It doesn’t contain your name or anything about you. We don’t use advertising cookies.
Where it’s kept, and for how long
PostHog stores this information for us on servers in the European Union. We keep it only as long as it helps us understand and improve the website.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it to show you ads. We share it only with the services that run this website: Vercel, which hosts it, and PostHog, which provides the analytics.
Your choices
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we don’t record your visit at all. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker; the website works the same either way.
You can ask us what we hold about your visits, or ask us to delete it. Because visits are anonymous, tell us roughly when you visited and on which device, and we’ll do our best to find it.
